DEREK M. O’NEILL

“The vision may have started with one person. It was never meant to end there.”

Over approximately 20 years in financial services, Derek has helped families protect what matters and seen what it takes to build something meaningful.

Along the way came an important lesson: there can be a difference between being told you are building something and actually owning what you have built. That lesson shaped how he thinks about ownership, leadership, transparency, and independence.

ONE FOUNDING is the result — an environment where people can come together, learn, develop, pursue their vision, build businesses and agencies, create meaningful ownership, and build something lasting for their families.

He lays the foundation. The people who build on it are the point.

I don’t want my greatest accomplishment to be something I built just for my family. I want it to be the foundation that helps others build something they truly own for their families—something meaningful, something lasting, and something the next generation can continue to build upon.
